On the first day of the conference please check in by finding your name badge at the registration tables in the foyer outside the Eagle Ballrooms. Grab breakfast from the buffet, and proceed to find a seat in the Eagle Ballrooms for the general session.
Through Stories of accommodations, advocacy, and ableism, Jennifer Wolfsheimer will take the audience on a journey through her experiences as a woman with Cerebral Palsy and a mother of a child with a disability all while highlighting the real implications of raising expectations for children with disabilities. Jennifer has devoted her career to special education policy and its impact on students with disabilities. Jennifer holds a B.A. in Political Science and Women’s Studies from San Diego State University, M.S. in Education with concentration in Disability Policy from Syracuse University, and J.D. from Syracuse University. Participants will leave with actionable steps to raise expectations for children with disabilities.
